There was something strange about Ravenloft and Scar. Because everyone was assigned to a squad, it was very possible to lose your base, which was the castle or the town, depending on team you were on, and then you had to take your own base back. I remember one time attacking the castle on Scar and accidentally running into a friend I wasn't even aware was on the server. It was a strange moment: People running around trying to take back the castle, shots being fired and standing there, near the castle train, station talking with this guy ... it was amazing.
I've found most of the maps from the server. The only thing I'm missing is Scar. Too bad I don't have the money for a server. Thankfully. the NoobWars2 server apparently has some of those maps in their map rotation, including St. Mathias. I'm gonna check it out later! :D
[EDIT] - I just checked out the server. Friendly fire is on, so I was immediately and repeatedly spawn-killed by my teammates. I'll pass ...
