I support this idea with my whole heart.

That would make the game 10x better, I always wanted to play a supportive role in AoS!

The player could have an RPG (as Lastofs suggested) and a health/ammo crate.

IMO, the player should choose what type of crate they want to use - health or ammo crate, they shouldn't have both the ammo and the health crate in their inventory at the same time.

First off the ammo and health crates Sound all good and all... BUT WHY NOT MAKE CLASSES! So as you all should know in bf3 theres the assault= Smg = ammo pack XD Recon= Semi = nothing XD Shotgun=Support=HEALTH PACK!@!@!

now you see at the start screen you have the team choice but then comes the Class choice. Now for the crates that system would also kinda work like bf3 so you could put one down and it despawns the other crate you put down. But theres a twist you can only put three down... Unless a assault guy comes and puts ammo down XD and the same thing applys for the the assault class

boomstick a support weapon because THEY SUPPORT THE TEAM and if the enemy team gets close, Support CLASS has there back

Classes would be easyer to use though; think of the clans... sertin ppl have sertin roles in the class *cough CLASSES*

No.
Classes will only force you to play a certain role. It is much better to have freedom to choose. What if I want to use SMG AND the Health pack? Or Semi and the Ammo Pack?

hmmmm.... true.... Ok i withdraw that idea XD but i still think the bf3 kinda layout for laying down the packages should go into the next update

I didn't read the whole topic, so some ideas may already be written.

-only the crates that are randomly created could be used by both teams, not the crates that are called in
-pls implement something like ammo packs; ammo crates would contain 4 ammo packs, and health crates would contain 4 medikits
-it would be really nice if everybody would be able to carry and drop crates. Then, it would be possible to make small bases.

1. Bullet symbol.
2. I think it should be BFP4F styled. Throw it down, people can restock from it and its infinite. Enemies can destroy it with 1 bullet. But theres a catch. A long cooldown and it takes twice as long to restock from yourself.

we can also grab the weapons of fallen enemies, with the ammunition they had them. I like the symbol of the bullets ^ ^

I'm not entirely against ammo & health boxes, but we need a portable medkit & ammobox that the player can choose to take.

Only the discovered(by a friendly player) or called in crates should be visible on the map.
And you should may choose freely a weapon near an ammo crate without suiciding.

how about people with smgs will have the health crates and shotgunners will have ammunition. hopefully this will help balance the battlefeild so not every one uses a rifle.

That would be more than unfair.

Most people use the SMG, not the rifle.
