I'm never going to buy it, because I started playing because it was free. It's nice to see a free online game that doesn't run at 10 FPS.

Somebody suggested that we should be able to buy AoS via SMS, and I think that's a very good idea.
But honestly, the game isn't worth any money at this state, so I voted "No".

I reconsider.

I wont buy the game. The game has not so much content. And paying for a game that's still heavy in developement will only ruin player base.

I prefer a donation button and advertisement. But who am I? It's Bens choice it's his game.

There are allot of other games free on the internet. And I still play Battlefield2 /PR and Arma2 project reailty.

This is a nice game, when you are not in the mood for playing other games.

As a person above said, Ben could simply make the AoS download link adfly supported. We click his links, and he gets enough money to buy a cup of coffee.

So, is it going to be pay-per month, or buy once and then it's F2P? If it's pay-per month.... Goodbye ace of spades.

Sorry for double post, but NO. NO pay to win. That would drive even more people away from it. I would never give a penny to support Ben if he did that. I think he should maybe make us pay for more character customization, kind of like TF2, or have a weapon unlock system and pay to unlock faster.

Those would of course be only for premium servers for users who paid for the game.

To people who have been saying "ive been playing since v0.whatever and therefore i deserve this game for free, do you have any idea how selfish you sound? If you've been around that long you should apreciate all the work that Ben has put into this game and respect it if he wants something back

As for everyone else, i dont know why we are getting so worked up about this, lets just wait till an offical announcement before we totally loose our shit, no?

This is the first I've heard of this since I pay no attention to the forums, and it made me sick to my stomach. Whether it is happening or not, I'm almost turned away from the fact that the idea came up.I know the devs have to make money somehow, but pay to play for everyone is not it. I almost feel like it's insulting to all of us loyal long term supporters, who have spent all of our free time for a year or more playing and supporting this game, to suddenly have to pay for what used to be good free fun. I feel like a large amount of the current community may not be able to pay for it, even if they wanted to. The younger players do not have paypal accounts or credit cards, and paying for it forces their internet skeptical parents to get involved. Some people also may not have the money to pay for it at all. You go ahead and make this game paid, there's nothing I can so to stop it, but I will not be paying for it.

how some people shouldnt pay and some people should . people play BECAUSE its free .

He didn't mention other people having to pay for it. Also he was just giving his opinion, so there's no reason to insult him for that.
