For all things AoS!

Registrations would hopefully increase the number of people who attend the forums. By registering, you also get to make an ign, which you could change later. One may not chose an ign which is already a forum name or is already being used by someone else.

Clantags may also be implemented. If your usergroup is anything else other than "Member", it will be added as a prefix to your ign.

EDIT: I don't think any statistics should be registered for each member. Or, maybe the game should only record your statistics in the last 7 days. There should be an option while setting up a server that prevents the recording of statistics.

What he said ^^. Make registrations optional, otherwise you play as Guest and separate clan tags from user name.

How would this be useful? Banned players should stay banned, regardless

Unless the banned player were banned a long time ago, also you NEVER get an appeal across, so you should wipe the slate clean and if they still hack the ban them again.

You did something worth permanent ban, why would you get your ban lifted just because the game happened to get a registration system, no reason at all.

AHHhh... you guys don't get it especially when you got banned in .50 for spawn killing! its so annoying because you dont get banned for that stuff today but you got banned then. Also my friend got accused of an aim-bot when he was just spinning in circles and shooting with the smg at the other teams spawn!

That's why you appeal the ban. Mass unbanning would be a terrible idea.

Since AoS is planned to become $10 in the future, I don't think that will work.

Never been a fan of registration, seems kind of pointless to me. Is impersonation and ban evasion such a massive problem?

Yes, Goon Haven had to ban Brazil because we couldn't keep a ban on people from there.

Exactly what Korakoff did with the Komrade Server. He banned all of Brazil because Brazilians constantly came onto the server aimbotting, and creating a constant 2,000 ping for all of the Americans in the local range of the server's location.

Then it wasn't a worthwhile server. The servers that are worthwhile wanting to be playing on have admins who will be willing to listen.

One suggestion for this: Be able to change your IGN like on Steam.
(example: login name = IDKWHO9880, IGN: [DD] IDK Who)
