Gentlemen!
It has came to my attention of playing AoS for a full year now,seeing n00b after n00b doing this, that there is a new phenomenon on our hands... I want to be the first to coin the term, TF2 Spy!
TF2 spying is when a player switches teams to the oppositions, griefs their structures (as spys do) then switches back to original team thus gaining the upperhand. it's stupidly annoying, it needs to stop.

I don't need to switch teams to do this :P

I would love to actually have a feature where you can spawn without a gun, and you have to use your spade, but you look like the other team. You would have to make it to the other teams base without getting shot, but then you could spaderage :)

When you kill the first person though you should slowly start fading back into the normal team color over like, a minute.

1) Pick your team at start.
2) You can not change during current game.
3) Team assignment last during entire match tied to player name/ID. No restarting to avoid.
4) Server script auto balances teams.
This problem solved. :)

Why? EG: I'm unable to join blue team because the blue team is full, so the game puts me in the crappy green team. Someone leaves the blue team so I automaticly join the blue team. I don't want to be stuck with a crappy team that is filled with AFKers, Dick builders, Swastika builders and only builders in general.

I understand your frustration with not being on the color of your choice. There are too many players riding the coattails of the winning team.
But I will almost always pick the side of the underdog. Small sacrifice to solve a big problem.
