Mini-Updates for Weapon Tweaks?

OK, so it's been a while since I posted here, but I had an idea:

Why not have mini-updates just for weapon adjustments? I mean, stuff like specific weapon damage to specific body parts, accuracy, and clip sizes could be tweaked every couple of weeks. The process works like this, right?

Update----> Community tests new weapon settings -----> Community gives input -----> Changes are considered / coded ------> Update

It's all a big iterative loop that eventually gives us the perfectly balanced setup, right?

Mini-updates would just make us get to the end result faster. And big updates would still come through every few months or so.

IIRC, it was said that .76's auto-updating client would make it easier to put out small patches for balancing weapons. It's a shame that .76 is taking so long, especially when the current RC feels completely ready for prime time.

Yeah this is true it been taking a long time since the last update. But i can't wait till it comes out. :D
