How to mod AOS?

Hi everyone,

Not sure where to post this, so I'll just put it in general discussion.

My friend and I have never modded a game before but we wanted to try editing the code of AOS to mod it, however we don't know how to access it. We tried opening the client in a compiler, but it came out as a bunch of symbols like when you open something in notepad that is a file extension it isn't compatible with.
How can we get started modding AOS?

Modding skins is simpler than you think

Download a program called Slab6, a quick google search should reveal it

With slab6, open the weapon or object file you want to mod in AoS' "kv6" folder.

To add a block, hit the insert key, to delete, hit delete. To paint, move your mouse to the bottom right of the window and right click the color you wish, then hit space on the block you wish to paint.
