Zombie vs Humans Balance

Hello.

The humas have more advantage then zombie, because they can shoot by long distance, and have equals speed with zombie. its particularly feels in water.

I think to balancing humans and zombie, zombie must have more speed or ratio or humans/zombie must be 2/3 or 1/2, or to more adrenaline 1/3

Humans can backpedal and shoot zombies in the face. Make walking backwards slower than walking forwards first and apply it to all game modes. Then make zombies faster too.

just nerf the weapons(especially smg)(in zombies anyways) and then stay away from them in water. The original idea was youd swarm and surround people, not charge directly at them. Do that or just walk around them and superjump to them.

the second best way to buff zombies is force them to pass a basic reading test.

Flutter's got it, If you use AMBUSHING and FLANKING you can take out whole teams.
I've done it before.

The humans have a SUPER unfair advantages:
1. They normally have way more players than zombies because no one wants to be a zombie because zombies suck.
2. They can shoot you.
3. It takes 4 spade hits to kill a human, by that time you are dead. I once snuck up on a blue, I hit him once with a spade. He turns around and kills me. WHAT THE HECK IS THIS?
4. This depends on the server, but squads. Zombies are constantly being spawn camped
5. Zombies can't build. WHAT THE HECK? I THOUGHT AOS WAS ABOUT BUILDING! You can't defend your spawn by building a wall
6. The zombies are slow.
7. The zombies have barely any HP, it takes about 5 SMG hits to kill a zombie. And 4 spade hits to kill a human -_-
8. The whole system is messed up, zombies should be erased from the AoS memory. It was a terrible mistake.

Yeah it's pretty bad for the zombies.

What I'd really like to see from zombie mode is combining it with infiltration.

I've given Humans some havoc before But you have to force them to come one by one to your intel and ambush em.
Some tips for Zombies:

-Superjump is wonderful. Unless you are fighting a human veteran, superjump will screw up most efforts to hit you, giving you time to jump to people and spade them from behind.

-Dig, dig, dig with right click. Tunnel cleverly for ambushing or intel snatch reasons.

-Sap. Destroy entrances into the Zombie base whenever possible so you slow down the humans and force them to build for once.


Although a change to balance out the number of zombies vs. humans would be nice. Playing human hardly takes skill in a zombies game right now.


EDIT:
Bury your intel a bit, then make a cave. Ambush when enemy comes.

Super jump doesn't help at all, it takes 2 spade hits to break a block to jump. Meaning if a human is in front of you, you have to stop running. Look down, whack a block twice. And then you get propelled a million blocks high. And then you fall back down and get butchered...

Literally, zombies in its current stage is just crap.

I'm not saying the system is balanced, I was just giving tips on how to make humans pay for their cruelties more often until the gametype is balanced.

I am aware that groups of enemies or even a single aware enemy in an open space will screw you over. a trench can help.

and you can sometimes super jump by attacking blocks in front of you as opposed to directly under you.

You right, that of zombies can't build will be changed... with human's grenades, zombies can't repair that big holes what grenades open, and they fall and get killed.

The zombies need more HP, like Hobo says, like 300 - 400, it's very easy kill zombies being a human, zombies need regain HP in time, not only killing humans. Humans > 1 Kill > Refill all ammo, its really annoying for zombies, the humans never die and shots 1000 magazines in zombie's bases...

Fall damage doesn't occur in Zombies. Otherwise superjumps would KILL you.

Building would be nice though. Sapping can only do so much to slow down enemies.

Everything would be solved if humans didn't have squads and 5 kills for a refill. That'll teach those braniacs to use their smg's more wisely.

Thats a good solution, not SMGs crazy guys shooting everywhere to kill zombies.

+1 to your idea.

Add: Squads will be obligatory and more resistance for Zombies.

I did not know enemies could get field refills for ammo... Certainly explains a lot.

If we wanted a true "zombie horror" feel, the gametype would have to change drastically to make life suck for the humans and require them to manage resources, build barricades, and use some skill.

Right now it's either slaughterhouse massacre caused by humans or some extreme skill/ tactical thinking on the zombie end.
