Will we have to pay for AoS soon?

I've heard rumors about how in AoS 1.0 (or something) that we will have to pay for the game. There is another game called ''Kerbal Space Program" that was F2P. Then when they added more content, you had to pay. Not much, like 7 bucks. However they have a free ''demo'' version which is just an older version of the game. Is this what AoS will become?

Yes, it's planned that with the 1.0 release will come the need for payment, probably a one-time fee of around $10. There are still a lot of things in the works and a ton of new content to be added so I think that most people will be quite pleased with the final product.

When this game reaches 1.0 it will be payed.
There are going to be two version branches. The Voxlap branch and the OpenGl branch. The OGL branch will have better graphich and more content. The voxlap branch will have less content than the OGL version and a bit worse graphs than the OGL verison.

the community will be split in two parts opengl and voxlab or something . one has more content and better graphics . however the dev will change the voxlab here and there until its on par with open gl .

Sorry to offend you, but not everyone has all day to search a forum that doesn't contain a straightforward answer.

EDIT: if you guys already see that this post has an answer, why do you post hate and get so butt hurt over it? if some people dont go on the forums every day like some of you, why is is necessary to get mad? why did you bother to waste your time?

I agree with MegaPrime, because some are completely unsure about it, while some just want clarification of the fact. No need to get so worked up about it.
