I give this game an overall A+ because its fun to play.

And it is obvious you guys don't know crap about hardware and video cards. Three year old netbooks have about the same graphic cards as a 10 year old PC. They run OpenGL 1.4 or something like that. They would also have low video card memory. You can barely play chess on netbooks, anything 3D forget about it. I have a 3 year old netbook with 2 gigs ram and it has trouble with netflix.

I have a five year old netbook with 1 gig ram and you're completely wrong.

Oh and Benton, I hope you had the perception to notice that I was referring to you when I said:

Just because its "Fun to play" Does not mean it does not have flaws. Also, half of the report card is about the community, which is sadly lacking. Most players these days are useless good-for-nothings. The people on forums, most, are decent people. The ingame crowd is filled with the worst of the worst.

If I try to play, everyone seems like xXxMLGxOpTiCxFaKiezzxXx because of the lag. The rubberbanding doesn't help either.

Building- C

No one builds much anymore, even with the addition of click and drag.

Mods/Programs/Customization

Customization- B+

It's good to be able to mod this game as much as you can, but some mods can be abused (laser sights) and some mods have yet to be implemented.

Pypades- C

Yeah, it's great, but when it has flaws, it never gets fixed (IIRC votekick was broken for a month or so and no one did anything). Also, the fact that you need to have a third party program to make your server any kind of usable is both ridiculous and embarrassing to Ben.

Socially

Community- C+

In terms of the forums, the community is an A, with plenty of helpful people and the detrimental people are quickly dealt with. However, in-game, the community is a bunch of 11 year old kids going around screaming "HACKER HACKER" at anyone who kills them, griefers, foreigners who spam up chat with "alguem br?", and occasionally trolls.

We're overall pretty helpful but sometimes I feel like we need more people with more authority, but it's okay for the most part.

So teachers give bullies good grades cause they can do good math? Sure. But overall their grades suck, cause they are a bully. There are things I hate about AoS but overall I think it deserves an A+.

And its obvious you guys don't know anything about computers. I have a 10 year old desktop that, if I swap in some ram, a new motherboard, and a good video card can run AoS at 100 fps. It's still a 10 year old computer. AoS needs one gig ram, any decent processor, and a decent video card. My netbook runs AoS at about 17 fps. If it had a better video card it would run much better. Don't expect any 3D games to run on your netbook.

Maybe if your 5 year old netbook was a $2000 netbook it would be fine.

Actually, I don't know where you come from, but where I come from, if you get good marks, you get good marks on your reports. You may get notes and stuff talking about bad behaviour, but your marks are the same. You may get poor marks for effort, but you get good marks for the work itself. I personally don't have experience with this, being a perfect student :p, but I have seen other peoples' reports.

I have a friend, really smart, but he does not try, so he gets notes about that. Yet he gets good marks on his report because he does good,work. Being a bully doesn't mean you have poor grades.

You can't just get a random community member and say "Oh here's my report card". Because that "card" is not true. Just because you lag in a game doesn't make it bad. You need someone who has spent time with the game. Experienced it. And has a good connection strength and over-all decent computer/laptop to run it to at least 60 FPS. In other-words, You can rank it in YOUR perspective but. You can't say that for the rest of the community.

Well here, lets look at it a different way. The game itself process that bad you can't get good ping/fps. Happy?

Also, Brenton, how exactly, going down the list of things, does that get to an A? So what you have a good laugh here and there. I've been dedicated to this game for just about a year, and yet, I dont even think it deserves an A.

there is really not much to do it seems here, and it seems pretty rare for public matches to have people working together.

Performance- B

it runs pretty well for me, the lag is not really a problem, unless I am connecting to a server with higher ping

the building in this game is alright, but most maps make it rare.

the customization is good, it is pretty easy to make mods in slab6 and there are a lot of them available to use.

Pypades- C

it seems alright, I don't really know of any of the big features it added, but things like airstrikes and dirt grenades have been pretty awful ideas for this game, and probably one of the reasons why I can't play it longer than 5 minutes anymore.

Socially

Community- D

the community is very bad for this game. most good suggestions get shot down because of "griefing" and things that you can't get rid of, and everybody seems to want to keep this game the way it is right now. that would have been fine a year ago, when the game was actually fun, but now it's just boring. I don't know, it just seems like the community is holding this games potential back so much, not saying that it needs 40 identical weapons, but at least add some variety to how this game plays. if it has different weapons then it should not seem the same, it seemed like there was more variety when it was just the semi.

B+ - B- = 89.9 - 80.0

So on and so fourth

Add all the grades together and divide by how many grades.

Thanks for calling me "Brenton". That, along with "Fenton" has really made my day...Can't anyone online fricking spell BENTON. It is 6 goddamn letters...

I dunno about report cards and bullies, my report cards are good too. However the "notes" section is part of the report too, and I think I remember some report cards having a behavioural score too. But I dunno.

I tend to really get caught up in details, and spend waaaaay to much time on them. So I try to look at the big picture, and that is "AoS = fun so AoS = A+". I have a beast of a computer, and I get almost 0 lag, I don't find the community bad, as far as it goes it is pretty good. So I feel this game is pretty good already. Maybe if you wanna get nit-picky you can find some bad things about it but overall it is fun.

My 3 year old netbook runs AoS at about 15 fps. It's playable.
