Aos Olympics 2012 WIP - This is a little idea of mine what I hope to make it happen
The winner gets renown,honor and problaby a title what I currently don't know.I also accept anyone who want's to be the athletes*,judges or the spectators and feedback/ideas for the events is appreciated.
Events: Grammar test of English! Hurdle run,spear duels,explosive rock throw,an jumping course,a marathon,man hunting with greek crossbows,
What we need: a Map maker,a modder,athletes,a hoster and judges


*Our Athletes must be able to talk English, as an example: "I haez cookiez!" <-- You will be treated as an "rambo" and you will not gain the "Athletes" positsion.

Now our mighty athletes: Uxlay,Rusko,Greace and Hay (hopefuly there will be more comming soon)

110m hurdles - 110 blocks, hurdles every 10 blocks.
An obstacle course of some sort would also be something cool to see.

Do not agree with the throwing and shooting activities, as everyone throws equivalently to each other, and the shooting thing depends on how the activity is supposed to work.

The throwing and shooting do work!
A while back bcoolface made a mini grenade olympics with me, tank and a friend called denyerNTR.

Height:
Each participating member builds a high tower, 1 thick.
They then take it in turns to throw a grenade up, trying to get it as high as possible and right next to your tower so it blows up and destroys it at that point.
You can then look back and see who has the greatest amount of their tower remaining.

Javelin-ish:
Make a platform and have everyone throw a nade, putting a colourful block where it blew up and standing by it.

Clay-pigeon:
Have a judge throw 20 nades up, one after the other, and ?use a script? to tell if the participant shot the nade before it exploded.

The first two we tried and were measurable. The third we tried but we didn't have much of a way of recording it at the time.

I'd be up for any admin/judge/mapping work needing done.
