Just as a tip, don't feel free to barge in in any small clan, although nobody has done anything in this particular clan other people might report your posts even if they don't like them slightly, considered invades in the clan guidelines. I'm not implying that I you should duck off because I will report it, but rather as a tip because I like you.
The title is indeed sniffy but it's a good thing that the leader considers his/her clan to be the best, it shows, for the very least a strong conviction from the leader, which is what leadership is all about in my opinion.
P.S, it's funny that you've mentioned you find this so similar to LDR, since I find myself so similar to Kibblez. Although I wouldn't consider the two as similar as you say they are; LDR was always more of a group of friends rather than a competitive clan that considered itself as an elite clan or that competed with other clans whatsoever, although the bond between the members does remind me a little bit of my clan (which is no longer a part of the AoS community).
Okay, the title was to show a bit of cockiness and confidence, I will concur with that fact. The fact was to show that we aim to be better than other clans. Regardless if you like that fact or not: I am trying to be better than you. As for your win-loss ratio, no comment; we haven't much participated in clan matches due to a lack of members on at the right times.
We stopped recruiting because we don't want to become another G3N, for one. We don't want something so unmanageable before we can even have the chance to show we are able to effectively manage it. SPQR does do a good job at managing, but the trouble you go through to keep it managed is just far too much busy-work for what we are trying to accomplish. We want to breed a good community of people while maintaining quality on the battlefield; in-game quality is something we want, but it's the least desired trait. We just want to ensure that you are a good person to have around, a good friend; skills come with playing as friends. If you can die 100 times, get 30 kills, and still have a blast while getting a little pissed, you'll do better each game.
We had an overage of people, our members list got ugly. We are invite-only until we can settle the recruitment process; the sky is the limit when you have clear management and organization; until then, however, we will cut it off. I will change the "Elite Clan" status though :3 I suppose it is as pointless as it sounds.
P.S. Doc is like a genius and knows what to do much more than myself; I couldn't have stated that any better.
P.P.S. Most of your questions about our clan's way of doing things can be answered in the Aims and Goals as well as throughout the OP.
