I tried uninstalling it. It doesn't work.

I could always try playing with another browser, but I like Firefox the most.

Use Google chrome or... uhm... Internet explorer.
To a Physicist, white and black is the presence and absence of color.

Hey buddy. I recommend Google Chrome also, lovely browser. Just remember to download AdBlock from the Chrome Store for free if you want.

Use Spadille, it's a 3rd party game launcher that acts as a server browser. Just set the location where your game is installed and click a server and you're ready to go.
