well, i saw a video of a game on voxlap engine a few minutes ago, and something caught my eye. when he killed an enemy, he fell in a ragdoll animation.

at 0:45 he shoots opens a door, shoots a deuce, and the deuce is a ragdoll after he shoots him.

granted its not a very good ragdoll, but the ragdoll physics seem to me like it would be good in ace of spades.

would be somewhat better than the current death animations if you ask me.

Hopefully, if ragdoll physics are implemented, they won't make my computer lag as much as Wolfenstein 3D.

Meh, i dont really care about cosmetic changes too much at the moment, would prefer they sorted out the gameplay first

Well, there are alot of voxels on them dueces than AoS dueces. Did you notice that?

I think it's unlikely possible, since there is many voxel in one model...
AoS is a simplified version, so, how can it happened?

I would like ragdolls. Though of course with an option to turn them off if they really would cause a lot of lag or something.

Just add joints (elbows and knees) and ragdoll deaths would be feasible. It would probably make a good sprinting and reloading animation, too.

Still, adding stuff like this shouldn't be on top priority, we need lag and gameplay fixes first. Besides, all these things might make the game unplayable on older computers.

We need to get to more important stuff before we start getting fancy, as Paratrooper stated. I mean, this might be amusing for 30 seconds, but it will definitely get old, and we'll start to hate it if we get it.

i don't think we would hate it, theres no reason i can think of to hate it.

beside the fact that if you shoot someone theres a chance their ragdoll will get propped up against the wall, which always scares me when i play tf2.
