I don't want this game to turn out like another game.

You can add gas masks, gillie suits and sun glasses by editing the textures on slab6

Let me just throw my opinions into discussion.

1. Currently you can only change the model of everybody with tools lke Slab6
2. I think it is annoying that it is hard to recognise somebody, because everybody looks the same + adding customisation would add reputation (like in WW1, if you saw a red thingy, it was the red baron, and you were dead)
3. It wouldnt reduce the teamwork, it would more increase the social and co-ordinative parts of the game
4.I want customisation

Well, since your signature says otherwise, i will take these as sarcarsm.
Gameplay-wise, well someone will make some camo, make them hard to be seen and thus, somehow unbalancing the gameplay.

There is a more... powerful variation of camo : make your skin in the color of enemy team - making a green skin if you always play blue, for example - to fool the other team, come close to them without any risk and shoot them in the back. Only experienced players, who took the time to look that you are not on their radar, and there is no name when you aim at them, could see you are actually an enemy

Ah yes, another drawback : that would make strange. Imagine, you have a WWII pack and see some Halo Spartans...

So I see 2 conditions to customisation, to work well :

=> Have an option : enable/disable customisation, to either see each player's look, or keep it as currently. Your choice (it won't ruin a skin pack if you don't want to)

=> Need a minimum amount of team color area in the skin, to avoid impersonation of the other team and abusive camo. Otherwise, the server loads the basic skin for you

You got a point. people could just make themself cammo skins etc. Having a certain part of the body being allways the same would solve that though. I think

Requiring a minimal surface in team color would prevent camo
