A Slab6 Like Map Editor

Got a great new idea for the game?

A Slab6 Like Map Editor

Postby xXWarriorXx » Sat Oct 06, 2012 3:41 am

Good Morning, evening, afternoon to everyone, I Recently had something in my mind about a Slab6 like map editor.
Here are my ideas for it:
There should be default generated maps, That you can edit
Using Insert keys for placing blocks, Delete button for deleting a block
Importable KV6 models (Voxed only allows you to import .vox files)
Using the space key for replacing the color of a block (Instead of round thingies appearing when you press space on Voxed)
Placing multiple blocks at once (Should be adjustable like 2 blocks per press of button etc etc)

If you, Players of AoS have better ideas about this, Please feel free to share your idea. :)

You can actually use SLAB6 to make objects that go into the map, but I don't know how to do it.

We are here because the Universe offers conditions so life can evolve,to the point where(at least one)species,in a small planet around a star lost between millions of galaxies,is able to ask itself:What was my origin? (M. Gleiser)

Save the model as a KVX then in VOXed I think you press F10 or F11 (I forgot, I don't really make maps anymore) and select the KVX file to insert it :D

It is still in the works though. If you have any questions, ask the OP of that thread.
To a Physicist, white and black is the presence and absence of color.
To a Fine Artist, white and black are just shades and tints of color.
To a Painter, any paint that you could get into a can is a color.
THIS color, on the other hand, is #b4d455.
