I feel it was missing in AoS as soon as I played my first game.

This is a psyspades script, and it should be implemented.

Seriously, you go through all the trouble of defending it, a guy gets it by sheer luck, and runs to the center of the field.
All you can do now is move up and try to camp that intel for as long as possible, but then the inevitable happens, and another person comes and steals it away.

Make it be recapped if touched by the team...

Maybe make it kinda like capping a CP: A small timer appears when you are in a 3x3 radius of the intel, and the more teammates, the faster the timer charges, and when it is done it respawns.
