Helmets. No, this is not what you think about.

1.Play a game, die.
2.Get new helmet OR a sign on your helmet that indincates your achievements this round:

The bullseye.
Get killed without doing anything.

The scope sign.
80% of kills are headshots

The crossed shotguns.
You blew out 3 enemies at the distance lower than 5 blocks.

A spade.
You dig like a [s]MAGGOT[/s] worm.
Dig 50-100 blocks total.

A bunch of grenades.
Killed more than 2-3 enemies with a grenade(1 grenade).

The bullets.
3 kill streak without reload of your machine gun.

The parachute.
You like chuting, bad news you have none to use when you fall.

Will let you to see if teammate specialises in something or is just a noob.
Will let you see the enemy's talents.

Yes, I read about helmets, but these helmets work more like signs than headshot protectors.
Look at the analogy of Image from the "Gone with a blastwave" comic.

Well if this gets in for some odd reason, I would get the bullets in no time flat, thanks to me being SMG pro.

But, it's a complex idea that need refining, as the helmets are simply lacking voxels to have such complex things on them.

I like the idea but how would the symbols appear in voxels though? That's the only problem.

Actually this is NOT tf2-system. You get a mini-achievement in last life - you get SIGN on a helmet, not a new helmet.
You cannot see it, it gives no advantages to you or any other. This is a simple marker of player's talents that he have shown last time.

This is a problem, but this can be solved in different ways:
1.A community competition of sign making.
2.Attaching symbolic low-pixel signs that will be a bit bigger than a helmet.
3.placing the signs on the body(back and schest) instead of helmet.

How about we make this into a server command, eg: /ranking (name) or /level (name)
