to make drag and drop easier

I ha an Idea to make Drag and drop easier. I have never seen this idea before. When you use drag and drop your running over to yyour spot but you might get killed on your way there so i naturaly sprint whhile moving so i automaticaly loose the drag and have to go all the way back. So my sudggustion is to select your spot and be able to sprint with it. If you dont like that how about You hold right click on your spot for 3 seconds then it locks your spot so you dont have to hold right click down while running. It would automaticaly save your spot so you can let go but still have it selected. then when ou would like to drop you can just right click where you want to drop. I also have the problem of not making strait lines. so when your line deviates from the strait path make the stip of block change from white to a blue (or what ever color you feel) just so you know.
