As an option, this would work, but judging by the computer specs needed to run this, I doubt you need it for that.
It's also the least laggy/telltale/YOU HIT HIM IN ALL CAPS/ sign to show you hit them.
Something that some people don't notice about the blood effect is that you don't see it unless you can see your enemy.
So, it gives you a risk for attempting to see whether or not you hit your target.
For example:
If I shot at somebody twice. Now, I have a choice to make in a split second.
Remember I said shot AT somebody, and not simply shot.
Meaning, I don't know if I hit them.
Now, I can either continue to shoot in the open, and see if I hit them, or leap into cover, and stay safe to make another move.
This gives a bit of risk to basic things we take for granted in other games. Such as CoD. (Oh, god, why'd I mention CoD for a point?)
I enjoy the blood feature, and I think it should stay in the game.
I'm a brony, but not too far.
Why I choose to play AOS, and why I stay in it is a mystery to even me. Perhaps, when I grow older, I may discover that reason, and the answer to other questions of this game.
