Puella Magi Madoka Magica

Darker Than Black
"Kept secret from the masses, these individuals are known to murder in cold blood, smothering unnecessary emotions with logic and rationale. "The main protagonist is Tatsuhiro Satō, a university dropout entering his fourth year of unemployment. He leads a reclusive life as a hikikomori, ultimately coming to the conclusion that this happened due to some sort of conspiracy. One day just when his life seems entirely unchanging, he meets Misaki Nakahara, a mysterious girl who claims to be able to cure Tatsuhiro of his hikikomori ways. She presents him with a contract basically outlining that once a day they would meet in the evening in a local park where Misaki would lecture to Tatsuhiro in an effort to rid him of his lifestyle."

"Gurren Lagann takes place in a fictional future where Earth is ruled by the Spiral King, Lordgenome, who forces mankind to live in isolated subterranean villages. These villages have no contact with the surface world or other villages, and are under constant threat of earthquakes. Select villagers called diggers are conscripted to expand their homes deeper underground. Simon, a meek young digger ostracized by his peers, finds solace in his best friend and older brother figure, an eccentric delinquent named Kamina. Kamina allows Simon to join his gang, Team Gurren, to help him achieve his dream of visiting the surface world."

"Naota discovers that the blow to his head created a kind of portal, through which very large Medical Mechanica robots periodicaly emerge. Haruko is using Naota for her search for the Pirate King, Atomsk, because Naota's head is the only one that can create a passageway for the robots. She is at odds with Medical Mechanica, the monolithic industrial corporation. Naota is being watched by Commander Amarao, who believes that Medical Mechanica is out to conquer the galaxy. Naota is drawn into a three-way battle between Haruko, Amarao and Medical Mechanica. Throughout the crisis, Naota comes of age and learns to behave as a morally responsible individual and deal with adult desires."

Not sure what you mean by "ones like Rosario + Vampire." Also, I love N.H.K, it's so awesome. You should tell us about some you like Iron :D
