Name deletion ?

Hello.
I apologize equal times for my English and leave it times translated;)
For the first start the play asks for the name. With second the no more. How can I change the names or for deletion?

To change your name that you use in-game open the config.ini file in the Ace of Spades directory.
If you want to change your forum name you have to ask the site admins.

I do not find the names in that config.ini.
As much does not stand there which one it survey can.
NAME = DEUCE and this is not th name.

Just change "Deuce" to whatever you want your name to appear as.

Sorry.
I change "Deuce" to my name.
"name = Colossoss" in the Config.ini.
But the name not change in the game.

My Config.ini:

vol = 10
inverty = 0
windowed = 0
language = 0
mouse_sensitivity = 5.000000
show_news = 1

But the name in the game is "Darktrace2000"

Well, delete what your old name is, type what your new one is, then quit it. It should ask you to save, and if you save, it should work. IDK why it would not.

Colossoss is the new name and Darktrace2000 the old.
I save the config.ini.
But the name in the game is Darktrace2000 and not Colossoss.
I have the game Reinstallet and the name is not change.

Check if you installed the game in different roots, you might be launching the "wrong" AoS with a different config.ini file.

OK.
I found a other config.ini and vxl file in "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Games\Aces of Spades".
There change the name and the name is change in the game.

I have found this as well, but only if I try to join a server several times in quick succession, it re-creates the default configuration. I presume this is a bug.
