Framerate terrible... on this game???

I'm really quite confused... I have awful FPS and it lags terribly...

I have an Asus Cm1730 I believe it is with:

ATI Radeon HD3000 Graphics Card
AMD Athlon II X2 220 2.80GHz Processor
4Gigs of RAM (DDR3)

As well as:

Windows 7 64-Bit


I seem to have a framerate problem with Every game I play, from RTS games to FPS Games and I have this problem with Minecraft as well... I really wish I could get this fixed... I have 64-bit Java too...

Your hardware is pretty old. Like really old. Invest in maybe an i5 or i3 with a low end Radeon?

LOL. My Processor is perfectly fine and my Graphics is a low-end Radeon. xD

Impossible. hose stats are far better than mine.

try running it on windowed in a 800x600 resolution.

As are the stats of the laptop I played this on some months ago... that's why I'm so confused. It seems to be doing it for EVERY game I play though. Does anyone have anyway I can make sure I'm actually running the 64-bit Java? I'm sure I could google, but figured I'd ask anyways.

I'm pretty sure it's not a hardware issue, those are just fine for playing as light game as AoS.

After a bit of research, how about checking this thing? Instead of turning off, turn it all the way on.
Though I can't really say this can be the actual problem, but it might be.

I also forgot to mention I play on my 24" Westinghouse LED HDTV, and I always put that on the back burner but if I remember correctly sometimes monitors/tvs can affect things like this?
