Can not connect in Windowed or Fullscreen

Hey there, I've been playing for quite a while (Before SMG me thinks), and I haven't really had any trouble connecting at all. Now 0.75 is out, and I can't connect full screened at first, which bugs me because I have a hard time playing windowed, and then windowed bugs out on me. I installed the Microsoft thing, restarted my computer, re-installed, nothing. Zip. Zilch. So now what?
