Disconnecting from the master server.

Postby mrbubl3s » Tue Sep 04, 2012 12:43 am

With both the default AOS server and pyspades I keep disconnecting from the master server. (I'm not listed on the server list.)

DMZ is enabled for my local IP.
I have no firewalls enabled.

Is there something not apparent that I need to do before this will work?

Regards

I'm not 100% sure if 'DMZ' is the same as 'port forwarding', and if it's not, you need to forward TCP/UDP 32887 (not sure if you needboth, but I did both and it works).

If you did that, you should try to wait. I had to wait a while before I got a stable connection.
Also, I would appreciate you not digging up every old post with your problem and bumping it.

Yeah DMZ exposes your computer completely to the internet.

I replied to literally one other thread with the same problem in hopes the poster would see it and tell me if he figured it out.

Actually, you bumped 3, one post was removed.

In regards to your problem, just leave it running for a bit and see if it connects; it may take a while.

What sort of connection are you at? if your on a homeconnection errors are to be expected (depending on the technique used, DLS, ADELS, T1, FIBER etc...)

I suggest that you rent a server instead :)

I'm on a 15ms fiber connection, though I suppose it could be something with my ISP.
