Game Not working?

I just installed this game and everytime i go to a server it just give me a black screen and this error: initdirectdraw failed: 0x80004001.....whats going on?

What resolution are you trying to play on and what is the native resolution of your monitor?

Also - try putting it in windowed mode (set windowed to 1 in C:\Ace of Spades\config.ini)
