I cannot enter the game

Every time I enter the game will give me a hint:

initdirectdraw faild:0Ã—80004001

Well, what resolution are you trying to play the game on? To find out, go to where you installed Ace of Spades (usually C:\Ace of Spades), open config.ini, and look at the resolution. Have you tried playing on fullscreen and windowed mode? What's the maximum resolution your computer can handle? We need more information if we're going to help you.

Hi i am having the same problem but when i join it says that there is a server connection failure,
and how do i change the res ?

Go to config.ini in your Ace of Spades folder and change the xres and yres. Also, you can try playing in windowed mode by setting windowed to 1.
