Unable to resign from group

[SICKfudge]

I've just tried to leave Brotherhood by going to:

User Control Panel ---------> Usergroups


then selecting Brotherhood and the 'Resign' option


However, when I do this I get this message

anybody can tell me what I am doing wrong, I would ask one of the Brotherhood admins but they seem to have buggered off

It seems as if nobody except Administrators can resign from groups.

I don't see a reason why users shouldn't be able to resign from groups to be honest. Why aren't they allowed to?
