Low FPS While Recording (Help!)

I'd really like to record some full gameplays, but fraps causes my frames to drop to around 25. I mean, it alright for individual and lucky shots, which is why I've only uploaded montages and gamemodes that don't require shooting. I googled it, and I can't find anything helpful. Is getting a better computer the only way?

Try Camtasia. No lag. And that's what I record with

Camtasia is good... but i prefer fraps because camtasia hasnt such good quality as fraps and camtasia does record your ace of spades client in a box... not full screen... like this:

to fix that you have to event/pan crop the video...
