Windows XP error

Postby crispymaniac » Wed Jan 18, 2012 10:55 pm

Hi guys, I'm trying to start up Ace of Spades after downloading and installing the files and I keep getting this error every time I attempt to join a server:

"client.exe
The application failed to initialize properly (0x0150002)"

I'm running on Windows XP and I've tried starting it up in both Firefox and Chrome at this point. Any suggestions?

1)Windows XP

2)Windows XP cannot run AoS

3)Find any other PC that's Windows 7

4)Then you'll be good

Windows XP runs AoS fine.

Please don't give out false information.

First try redownloading AoS, and reinstalling it. If that doesn't work, then I'd get Dependency Walker from http://www.dependencywalker.com/ and run that.

Pick client.exe from your Ace of Spades folder and see what .dlls you're missing.

Any help greatly appreciated I'd really like to try this game.
