Yet another of my forts, slowly turning into tower. made 99% by me, my team was busy making shitty stairs in the back (we won, I can't believe that blues wasn't able to shot off 3 blocks to turn it down)

Good side of making it alone was ability to make it "clear", with no stupid additions.

EDIT:
Another match - I've tested new design of tower
Image

It's designed as alternative to most common full staircase - from my experience in destroying enemy towers, it's much harder to shoot down two thin walls with some space between them compared to single thicker wall. For enemy it looks and feels like 8-wide solid block, while it's much cheaper to made.
Another important thing is ability to repair - with single staircase you can't really see damages below you, with double every time you climb up you can check the second one for holes, and easily repair them using maintenance routes (every four blocks)
Such design also prevents enemy from hiding inside, because it's open from your side.
BTW. We won again - blues wasn't smart enough to shot off 5 blocks that supported our main tower.

In the first pic, I built a tree house.

In the second, I build the lattice work between the two staircases.

@ CalenlokiThey look like they take a long time and a lot of bricks to make though.

The red staircase was made by me mainly. It looks really flimsy, but the other team had a lot of trouble bringing it down, they only managed the top 10 bricks at most. came back from 8-3 down to win 8-10 with it somehow, even though the other team was always attacking our tower relentlessly.

It's mainly for front bottom part of the tower, as enemy tend to attack most exposed parts, even when some flimsy staircase is just behind it.
It takes like 2,5x/3x more blocks than single staircase, and I'm already thinking about upper part that costs less while sitll providing high durability.

Enemy had to be really dumb not to destroy it, because you need only 6 blocks destroyed to remove half of this tower... But it's really common for newbs to aim at player for pointz rather than spend 20 bullets to win the match. If I were playing that match with you... you'd win, as I always play green :P

You can NEVER have too much lattice work.

Quick SS - my tower in front, not used as usuall. and that huge chaotic bridge obove our base (for what reason?) was used to cap.

Double tower. I build the left one completely on my own. And even faster than the right one who is build by at least 3 player.
The major difference is that I have a solid base to begin with(although I have to check once a while to ensure no one break it), and I could always have cover so I hardly die or intercept by enemy fire.

LOVE this map.

This was built using the new drag-n-drop feature, I liked the way it turned out :)
