E3 2012

Postby razor10000 » Wed Jun 06, 2012 8:10 am

Did anyone here went to E3 or watched any of its press conferences? It was an amazing one! They revealed a lot of new games and cool tech. Although I only watched the Microsoft Press Conference. One of my favourite reveals were probably:

Halo 4 Gameplay World Premiere
Splinter Cell Blacklist
Gears of War Judgment (Yes, it's spelt like that.)
Forza Horizon
Resident Evil 6
Tomb Raider

And there was a lot more. You can watch the finished live stream on Youtube via Machinima or Gamespot but there are other providers. Just search Sony E3 2012 Press Conference, Microsoft E3 2012 Press Conference or Nintendo E3 2012 Press Conference.

P.S I couldn't post the links because my sister and I had a bet that I would not watch Youtube until next Tuesday 8:07 lol.

P.P.S I wish Nintendo would shut up about the WiiU...

Lol.

But did you say, Gears of War? As in, with Marcus, Dom (rest his soul) amd all the rest? As in, the awesome game that was one of my first Xbox games?

I think it's a whole new story with a new protagonist so it may be a prequel or a side-story, something like that. I don't know.

Oh, ok. Perhaps, but GoW 3 ended without an epilogue, so this game could be an elaboration on the stuff GoW 3 left hanging.

EDIT: Nah, it turns out its about Judgement day. The day that started the Human-Locust War.

halo 4 looks so freaking amazing!
I can't wait for it to come out, gow:j though looks like a gow 3 add on :/
Resident Evil 6 looked ok, not great though.
Splinter Cell blacklist looked pretty good, looks like it needs some work, but it'll probably be good.

Halo 4 was Best Game of E3 for me though.

It was a highlight, definitely, but my personal favorite was Assassins Creed Three. Have you seen the new trailer? One word. Awesome.

I want to preorder both, and a couple of other games as well. I know where to get them very cheap, so all I need to do is butter up my mum.

Infobreak!
Apparently, officials are looking into why Australians pay so much more money for video games than other countries. Sometimes twice as much. Pray, Ausgamers, because it's possible that we may finally be able to pay affordable amounts of money for the games we love.

You were watching the 2012 E3 right? they were all horrible, the best conference was probably ubisoft of all things. Whatever, theres always the possibility of the 3ds conference tonight making up for yesterday.

Ubi! They've made my favorite series of games, and one of my favorites before that. The new trailer is awesome. I like AC mainly because it has one of the best stories, IMO, of any game franchise. It's also basically the only game in its particular kind of genre, if you don't count Prince of Persia, another Ubi game.

I like Halo because I like Sci Fi, and it had, again IMO, the best story out of the major fps around. Not sure how they intend to milk the franchise further, to make another trilogy, but it looks pretty cool.

I didn't watch, but I heard that all of the conferences so far were terrible. Were they really all so bad?

I watched a fair bit of one on YouTube. The vid was an hour and thirty minutes, and nothing I had seen made me want to keep watching.

I think Metro: Last Light will be the best, but they did not really show that much gameplay, they released some the day or two before E3. Halo 4 and Blops 2 look interesting, they are both pretty strange seeming
