It looks like Ace of Spades and Team Fortress mashed into one game. Except world is build from smaller blocks.

How to play: BlockWars is a multiplayer first-person shooter set in a world entirely created out of blocks (think Team Fortress 2 + Minecraft.) The entire world is fully destructible - you can utilize the large array of weapons at your disposal to destroy the world. BlockWars is played in a capture the flag format - walk over the enemy flag to pick it up, and bring it back to your flag room to capture it. The first team to capture the enemy flag 3 times will win the game. After each round, the world is reset.

I'm not a huge expert when it comes to TF2, but that Engineer looks a lot like that "Heavy" guy from TF2.

I'm currently downloading it, I hope I can run it.

Well, just tried running it.

Doesn't work, it comes to the "Loading...." part, it loads for a few seconds and then just fades into a completely black screen.

When I open Task Manager, it says that it's not responding, and the name of the task is "Block Wars FPS 0".

Have you tried running it through "BlockWarsClient.jar" in bin_client folder?

Yeah, that works, I joined the Block Wars New York server, it's currently downloading game info.

I'll leave it running for around 10 minutes and see if it's done downloading.

EDIT: Well, it didn't join the server after 10 minutes, so I clicked cancel and changed my resolution from 1440x900 to 800x600 to see if I can get a higher FPS rate (I was getting 7 FPS while connecting to the server).

I then tried joining a server and the game crashed.

It's very CPU intensive, sadly. >.>

I was running at 10 fps and then the game crashes.
Im going to keep spamming the dev with the report error :]

Yeah. Right after the game downloaded the server information the game crashed. Bummer :/

So if that game is MC+TF2
Will AoS be MC+Battlefield?

Anyways, why are the character models of higher detail than the map itself?

I'll pass.
