Story:

Vault 101 – Jewel of the Wastes. For 200 years, Vault 101 has faithfully served the surviving residents of Washington DC and its environs, now known as the Capital Wasteland. All in all, Fallout 3 is game where you can do anything.. Dont like the town of Megaton? denote the nuclear bomb in the center of the town. (Protective Eyewear Encouraged.) and where everything you do has an effect on the world.

This is the best game for when I want to derp around, because when I reach lvl 30 there is pretty much nothing that can stop me, salvo for the ocasional Super Mutant Overlord.
FNV is better in story and has much more variety.
