On the other hand, B-F being a rip-off of AoS is highly debatable.

AoS is as close to a Space Invaders/Pong ripoff as B-F is to an AoS ripoff.

Fine. B-F isn't a total rip-off of AoS. According to the OP, B-F is a run-and-gun game, apparently. AoS has destructible terrain while B-F doesn't.

The keys system is an excellent way to release all players steadily on the servers, I agree, it can be frustrating sometimes to get the key, but the game is still in Beta, releasing all players on the servers would kill them, and Spring is coming soon anyway, so the game is going to get fully released soon.

BTW, playing the game is a better way to judge it than watching videos of it.

And what footage did you watch? The 2 B-F trailers? If so, I suggest you watch other gameplay videos (MMOHut and MMOBombs have great gameplay footage of the game) of B-F because those 2 trailers are way outdated. :)

Hmm, I remember watching that video, TotalBiscuit played on a pretty much empty server, MMOHut and MMOBomb have better gameplay.

If you just search "B-F" on YouTube, you'll probably find the B-F review made by MMOHut Games, it should be the first on the page, actually.

You can't grief maps on B-F, you can't destroy blocks except for glass blocks, and the only way to technically "grief" a map is to steal someones map and destroy it in building mode.
