Open Arena

Does anyone play this? Because I heard this can run on a computer that couldn't run AoS. I don't wanna download it if I lag to hard. So how are its system requirements? And is it any good?

No, no, no.

I don't know what you mean. That game is made on idTech3, that's a engine used to make Quake 3 Arena, so probably every Pc will be able to run it. But it depends on how much creators will use the engine. You know, you can take a game engine from 1997, and make models detailed like in 2012.

So, AoS doesn't use your graphics card, so you can ALWAYS run it. And it lags because of this. In 1.0, it will fully use your graphics card (AFAIK), and it won't lag no more (If your Pc is not older than 13 years).

So, AoS can run on every Pc, (i am not sure).

Open Arena will probably won't run on a Pc that can't run AoS.

I don't think this looks like Deuces in AoS. And it doesn't look like player models in Quake 3 Arena.

So the answer is NOPE
