Tips for a Newbie

Postby RonPaul » Fri Mar 16, 2012 3:14 am

Hi I would just like to first introduce myself. As you know my name already is RonPaul, and I am looking to start a great experience of memories and good times on this game since well, I just joined. It is a true benieft for me to be able to join during the BETA so I can see this game progress as well as my experiences. But more importantly I have been looking for a solid, great gameplay, and as always..a good community. After playing a few severs, chating with fellow allies, building bunkers, and racking headshots.. I think I have found home. But back to the point.. *Ahem* Ok I got experience from bascially every minecraft like game and Minecraft. Just to name a few: Total Miner, Fortess Craft, Minecraft, Roblox, Cubelands, Castle Miner, CMZ, Blockyard, Minetest, Infini Miner...etc. Now I can build but I want good solid nice straight to the point (Unlike above) tips. Something I NEED TO KNOW. Something that well give me a great advantage or different point to track on in this Masterpiece game. Now below are what I would like to learn about.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
=Weapons (Oh brother Ive seen snipers but where are they? There are guns I don't know how to get)
=Building (I may have elite building skills but tell me the most benefical tactis)
=Mods (I know what a Mod is but they are in this game?)
=Skins (The trailer says customiziable skins???)
=Hosting (How to host a match?)
=Creating Maps (Is it possible?)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Now anything else that you could tip me on would be appriecated!(Probally spelled that wrong :-D)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Thanks!

Hello.

The so aforementioned snipers are simply Semi Rifle users,or could also be people using a reskinning of the rifle.

Refer to Tai's thread to tips about building and general tactics.

Mods could be:
->Moderators
->Weapon Reskinns, that are basically changing the weapon models.

Skins are modified weapon models. There are some modders around here, like SIMOX,Dimi,Paratrooper, and myself.

I'm sorry I cant help you with that :(

It is possible, but it is ass dificult, unless you like minecraft and uses an Minecraft-AoS Convertor. You would normally use the VOXED that is in the game files.

Oh,and yes,it is spelled wrong lol,the right would be Appreciated.

We are here because the Universe offers conditions so life can evolve,to the point where(at least one)species,in a small planet around a star lost between millions of galaxies,is able to ask itself:What was my origin? (M. Gleiser)

To install,no,simply remove some files and then move the models you want to use on the right folders.
To create,no,you can simply download SLAB6 and start modding :D
