considering that the game is in a 800x600 quality, i think it may be best to render it into 720p. the only problem with this is a slight blur from pixel overlaps.

Pretty much, you can put it in 1080p but it wont make a difference

but there's longer uploads, longer renders. Any video you get from me will already be in 720p because of my hard core 65kB/s up speed. It will take about 3x as long as the video is to send it, not counting that my internet is very unstable and frequently drops to <10kB/s

and for every pixel up in dimensions, it adds all the pixels that the next pixel down quality has +1 so there is an exponential graph (see 9th grade math for more on that) for file size growth.
