I think that the randomness of the spread is determined by a seed that is initialized individually to each player every time you join a server (basically just means that random spread is client sided (means it can be hacked :O)), and therefor could affect any person more or less than another person. Must have had a bad seed.
End result was 30 kills I think, 39 deaths.
