Hiding content from clan subforums

I don't know much about forum software so I don't know if there's already a way for me to set it myself, but I think there should be a way to filter out threads from the clan subforums.
Because I can't say I care about the discussion and recruitment of clans I'm not in, and it's filling up more and more of the "new posts" page.

Ah, nice to see I'm not the only one.

Anyways, I thought I'd bump this because it's only becoming more and more of a problem. Not only are there more and more clan subforums now, but a lot of their threads are become a lot less distinguishable from regular threads. For example, I'm seeing a lot of threads on generalized subjects I'd expect to see in the general categories, but then right before I go to enter the thread I see it's posted in a super special exclusive clan discussion.
It's just a waste of everyone else's time.

Not to mention the fact that I think clan structure in this game is an absolute joke to begin with isn't helping.

You are able to subscribe to certain forums and threads of your choice. The link is at the bottom of the page.

Does it make unwanted threads to disappear?

Subscribing threads is the exact opposite of I want to do, I want to hide threads from showing up in unread post searches.
That addon looks like exactly what I have in mind.

I wonder if something will be done in this matter. Ignoring threads was a basic function in phpBB2 and I would be happy to have it here.
