RP SubSection anyone?

Hey,

Just thinking outloud,

Would anyone care for a roleplay subsection? it would be devided into "Serious Role Play" and "Fun Role Play"

Iv been RP'ing on forums for around 3-4 years, and iv yet to be on a forum without RP sections D:, so im just wondering who else would be interested.

Nomal forum rules would apply to both,

The RP's dont have to be AoS related.

Thoughts?

Use The Lounge.

If everyone asked for a section (or 2 in your case) for their favorite forum game then things would get crowed real fast. Besides that this is not an RP forum, nor should it be.


EDIT: By the way, putting images and quotes in your sig, and then manually signing your post is annoying and doesn't give people a good impression of you... Not sure if you know but sig is short for signatures, and when you sign something you use your signature, so you should instead put your signature in to your sig, since that is the correct use of the sig...

Well RP isnt the same as a forum game, furthermore the forums i go on, are not RP forums either, but they do have a RP section, why? becuase it doesnt hurt anything to have it there :]

imo serious RP does not belong in the lounge they shoul be kept seperate.

Well, im a formal person when addressing a large group of people, and i think its very polite to sign "- DE" at the bottom, like you would in an email, even if the recipent already knows who you are. Further more forum sigs are not always used a sa name or a how a RL signature would be, but rather a personalisation of said persons posts, nothing more.

You cant really lump them together like that, i could just as easily say forum suggestions and AoS suggestions should be in the same topic, becuase you make suggestions on both. Iv ALWAYS seen RP and forum games seperate, becuase RP tend to be developed story with characters, while the forum games tned to be things like "count to 100" "last post wins" etc,

Apparently staff are already concerned about DB size considering the "no chitchat in clans" rule, so I doubt they would make an entire subforum for "chitchat when pretending to be someone else"...

I dont think thats worry about DB, thats more just cutting down spam posts, like all across the board. Im sorry you disagree on what a RP is when comparfed to a forum game. But "I" am still interested in having a RP section

Even if its just a subsection inside the forum games section, so me and others can easily pick out the RP's from the other stuff.

You are afraid that everyone will take your RP seriously enough? Just write in OP "This is very serious RP, like the furries do".

"and others" - not sure who you are talking about here, but it is quite easy to read a thread title. So long as you don't give it a stupid name, perhaps considering writing "RP" or even "Roleplay" in the title of the thread...

And RP = Roll play. If you want to make something like a book with other people writing back each time. Say If i made a 2 person roll play, And I choose the topic about ace of spades why green vs blue is in war together so we would each write it after I do it or something like that.

Also, DE, The world doesn't revolve around you; We don't want deuce RPing in the forums.
